Simon graduated from Birmingham Dental Hospital and School in 2001. In his final year he was the Winner of the Student Cup. Since graduating Simon has continued with his professional development. In November 2004 following further study, clinical cases, coursework and examinations he was admitted to the Faculty of General Dental Practitioners the Royal College of Surgeons of England. (MFGDP)

Simon then continued his studies and in July 2009 was awarded a certificate for successful completion of a one year contemporary Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry Course mentored by one of the country’s leading professors and specialist dentists. He is highly proficient in smile design, smile makeovers, cosmetic treatments including veneers and tooth whitening techniques.

Simon has a special interest in Orthodontics and has worked in a specialist Orthodontic Practice for over 10 years completing over 1000 cases. He has undertaken further study and is a member of the British Orthodontic Society.

Simon enjoys spending time with his young family, sailing, fishing, travelling, reading, wine tasting and plays golf badly.

Tom graduated from the University of Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2002. He was one of four students in his year to be nominated for the James Youngson in Clinical Dentistry Prize and in his final year won the Charles Green Prize in Oral Surgery and General Anesthesia.

Oral surgery has always been one of Tom’s keen interests. After qualification he spent several years as a Clinical Assistant in Oral Surgery teaching undergraduate dental students at Birmingham Dental hospital.

Implantology is a Specialist field of dentistry that Tom is keen to start performing. With several years of training and courses to attend this is an area of dentistry that we will hope to offer at 76dental in the near future.

In his spare time Tom enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, shooting and playing golf....well!!

Jo also graduated from Birmingham Dental Hospital in 2002. She then went to work in Perth, Australia for six months. Here she worked in emergency dental clinics alongside Oral Surgery Specialists gaining vast experience in surgical techniques.On returning to the UK she started in general practice and after training in 2004 began treating very nervous patients with Intravenous Sedation. We are now pleased to offer sedation for all our nervous patients.

In 2007-2008 Jo completed an extensive restorative course in Manchester being tutored by one of the country’s leading specialist restorative dentists.

Jo has successfully treated many nervous patients since qualification and continues to treat all her patients to the highest standards through continuing education and training. The majority of Jo’s spare time is spent with her young family and competing with her horse.

After completing her postgraduate qualifications and training with the ‘Facial Aesthetics Academy’in 2006. She has a special interest in cosmetic skin therapy. She currently treats patients with wrinkle relaxing injections (Botox) and skin rejuvenating injections (dermal Fillers) to both treat and prevent facial lines and wrinkles.

In her spare time Kerry is a busy mum with two young boys who enjoys eating out with her husband. To relax she enjoys Pilates and swims each week.

Hannah graduated as a Dental Hygienist at Bristol Dental Hospital in 2007.

She gained experience in a prestigious dental practice treating complex cases, developing her skills further. Hannah regularly attends postgraduate courses and updates her knowledge through continuing professional development.

In her spare time Hannah enjoys spending time with her husband, family, friends (and dog!). She enjoys travelling, going to music gigs, running and Yoga.

Mandy joined the practice in 2003 having previously worked as a classroom assistant in a primary school.

After years of experience and training Mandy gained her dental nurses registration with the General Dental Council. Mandy is now our practice manager although she still nurses in the surgery especially for our children and nervous patients.

Mandy has completed her NVQ level 3 in business management.

In her spare time she likes travelling, going to the gym and spending time with her family.
